Dr. Revis performs over 500 surgical procedures each year to remove all forms of skin cancer, including Basal Cell Cancer, Squamous Cell Cancer, and Malignant Melanoma. In addition, surgery can be performed to remove nodules, cysts, benign moles, birthmarks, and other benign and malignant tumors. All procedures are performed under local anesthesia in a dedicated surgical suite used for procedures only. Procedures are virtually painless, and most patients remain on their medications, including blood thinning agents, prior to surgery. When indicated, appropriate treatment with oral antibiotics are ordered prior to surgery for selected patients.
